چکیده

This paper discusses the effect called undesirable extrusion dynamics that occur during material printing or fused deposition modeling. is revealed high acceleration and deceleration of head results in over-extrusion on corners parts printed layer unevenness. To minimize this effect, modern control systems use Advance algorithms for control. However, such disadvantages as inertia, reduced speed, need manual calibration, well uncertainty influence material, nozzle geometry, process parameters algorithm performance do not allow group solutions to be applied an industrial scale. The presents a study characteristics, type, extruder temperature, through series experiments. experiments were carried out Creality Ender 3 printer. obtained experimental data will us deepen understanding FDM printing; they are also used present modify existing algorithms. proposes modification based machine learning. It proposed implement containing two trained neural network models. One model predicts changes motion residual defects increase average print speed. second compensation parameter specific conditions without calibration. Mechatronic Design for an Extrusion-Based Additive Manufacturing Machine

3D printers, especially in the implementation of innovative extrusion processes which do not have a long history of development, are often built by adapting mechanical designs, drives and controls previously developed for generic machine tools. This is done through a process of choice and integration which is based principally on empirical criteria and taking into account separately the differe...

A Novel Extrusion-based Additive Manufacturing Process for Ceramic Parts

An extrusion-based additive manufacturing process, called the Ceramic On-Demand Extrusion (CODE) process, for producing three-dimensional ceramic components with near theoretical density is introduced in this paper. In this process, an aqueous paste of ceramic particles with a very low binder content (<1 vol%) is extruded through a moving nozzle at room temperature. After a layer is deposited, ...

Support slimming for single material based additive manufacturing

In layer-based additive manufacturing (AM), supporting structures need to be inserted to support the overhanging regions. The adding of supporting structures slows down the speed of fabrication and introduces artifacts onto the finished surface. We present an orientation-driven shape optimizer to slim down the supporting structures used in single material-based AM. The optimizer can be employed...

Advanced Material Strategies for Next-Generation Additive Manufacturing

Additive manufacturing (AM) has drawn tremendous attention in various fields. In recent years, great efforts have been made to develop novel additive manufacturing processes such as micro-/nano-scale 3D printing, bioprinting, and 4D printing for the fabrication of complex 3D structures with high resolution, living components, and multimaterials. The development of advanced functional materials ...

Control Architectures for Industrial Additive Manufacturing Systems

Industrial Additive Manufacturing technologies are increasingly being employed in manufacturing environments, yet there has been little consideration of these in terms of manufacturing systems. This paper explores the important concept of control for Industrial Additive Manufacturing Systems, drawing upon data achieved in twelve case studies to identify four feasible control architectures. Usin...
